Welcome to the newly constructed 2997 Squilax Anglemont Road, better known as “The Beach House”, on the north side of Shuswap Lake in Lee Creek.
The property has three bedrooms that can accommodate eight people. The master bedroom is on the main floor and has a king bed and ensuite bathroom that also serves as the main bathroom. Bedroom two, upstairs, has another king bed and ensuite with walk-in shower. Bedroom three, also upstairs, has a twin bed as well as a bunk bed, and the ensuite has a tub/shower.
The kitchen has all the cookware and utensils you need to entertain. Living room features a sofa, 2 armchairs, ottoman, TV/Shaw Direct/Blu Ray and a wood burning fireplace. The dining room can seat eight guests. A BBQ and seating area is on the back deck, and the front deck is furnished as well to comfortably take in views of the lake. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer adjacent to the kitchen.
The beach and dock are located across the road, where there are kayaks and stand up paddle boards for your use. There are also three buoys assigned to the property just off the dock should you wish tie up your own watercraft during your stay. The dock may be used for loading/unloading, however any personal watercraft must be tied to one of the buoys when not in use. The closest boat ramp can be found 15 minutes drive just east of the provincial park in Scotch Creek.
There is no vehicle parking in the garage. There is room for three vehicles in the front driveway and an additional three vehicles on View Road, which runs alongside the rear of the property (this would also fit a boat trailer and a single vehicle).
Bedding, linens, beach towels and cleaning supplies are provided. Expendable items (i.e. toilet paper) are not included.
The property must be left in move-in condition for the guests arriving after you. THERE IS NO CLEANING SERVICE. The guests will be responsible for cleaning prior to your arrival; you are expected to do the same for the guests after you. Linens/bedding must be cleaned and reset prior to departure. If the guests arriving after you complain about the state of cleanliness, you are at risk of losing your entire deposit – TO THEM.
**Dock, beach, garage and one parking spot in the front driveway is shared use with another cabin in the area.
AVAILABILITY AND WEEKLY RATES:
Weekly rental is required – if arriving early (ie Saturday) we may be able to accommodate with a nightly rate for extra nights before or after, but this cannot be guaranteed.
